Collection
The inspiration for Spring/Summer 09 is Vibrancy, dramatic silhouette and print.
Textile prints are inspired from a 1940's wool voile Japanese Obi which uses dramatic and strong floral shapes turned into coral fluro pinks, this then is teamed back with nude pastel grey crinkle geogettes and silk linen cobalt blues .
The cut and the patterns have always echoed architectural forms of the Art Nouvea and Bauhaus movements. These elements are seen through out the collection. The 'Gumnut Girl' skirt is a parashoot of colour and volume enhancing the design with 1950's printed panels.
